To summarize how my main slate lineup performed last night, I played David Nwaba. Nwaba, who was listed as active, played 0 minutes with Eric Gordon out and Danuel House injuring himself midgame. After the game, we learned that Nwaba was only to play in an emergency situation. I am not sure why that information wasn't stated in the injury report, but you are in for a few of those DFS days every once in awhile. For the main slate today, we have 6 games, which is relatively small. Hence, my player pool will be smaller than usual. We only have three more days before the all-star break, so let's win some money before we have to wait! As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Giannis Antetokounmpo - $11,300:
I am not going to waste words here. We all know how much of a tear Giannis is on, and if you don't for whatever reason, check out his Fanduel game logs. I will be locking in Giannis.
Best Value:
Lonnie Walker - $4,200:
In last night's overtime loss to the Nets, Lonnie Walker played 37 minutes and scored nearly 39 Fanduel points. Keldon Johnson is questionable to return today which would bump Walker's value down, but he would still see quality minutes with White, Vassell, and Gay all still out. The match-up isn't the best for Walker as the Knicks have one of the slowest paces in the league, but $4,200 is still an excellent price to pay for someone who is seeing the opportunity that he is right now. As things currently stand, I will likely be playing Lonnie Walker.
