Yesterday marked the first complete loss that my lineups have suffered in the last four days. Today provides the opportunity to bounce back into the green, and I fully plan on taking advantage of that opportunity. We have a slate that is on the smaller side with 6 total games, but there are still a healthy number of options. I wouldn't recommend starting the lineup building process until we have more news on James Harden, but I will try to account for all situations in this article. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Nikola Jokic - $11,000:
Nikola Jokic is my top play of the slate due to the lack of players priced over $10,000 (5), and his consistent production. In his last six games, Nikola Jokic has scored over 60 FD points three times, while only finishing under 50 twice, and one of those times he ended with 49. If James Harden suits up tonight, he can very easily replace Jokic as the top option on the slate, but Jokic will be an excellent option regardless. Unless there is a huge blow out, you can play Nikola Jokic and feel safe that he will put up respectable production, while always feeling optimistic about a 70+ point bomb.
Best Value:
Immanuel Quickley - $4,700/Bruce Brown - $4,000:
I decided to list two plays as my best value of the slate since they are both dependent on other people not playing. If Elfrid Payton doesn't play, then Immanuel Quickley will be one of the top value plays on the slate. Likewise, if James Harden doesn't play, then Bruce Brown will be a near lock at $4,000. If we can get both of these players in the right situation as described above, then their usage will skyrocket, and they will both be a part of my core for today.
Main Player Pool:
Point Guard:
Damian Lillard - $9,400
Immanuel Quickley $4,700 (if Elfrid Payton is out)
Alex Caruso - $3,600
Other great plays: Russell Westbrook - $11,100, Ben Simmons - $8,200, Jamal Murray - $7,800, Chris Paul - $7,500, Goran Dragic - $4,800 (if he plays) Tyler Johnson - $3,900 (huge boost if James Harden doesn't play), Raul Neto - $3,500
Shooting Guard:
James Harden - $11,300 (if he plays)
Eric Bledsoe - $4,500 (if Lonzo Ball doesn't play)
Bruce Brown - $4,000 (lock if James Harden doesn't play)
Other great plays: Bradley Beal - $9,600, Devin Booker - $7,700, Andrew Wiggins - $6,800, Alec Burks - $5,600, Tyler Herro - $5,200, Reggie Bullock - $4,600, Furkan Korkmaz - $3,500
Small Forward:
Brandon Ingram - $7,600
Rui Hachimura - $5,200
Joe Harris - $4,700

Center:
Nikola Jokic - $11,000
Enes Kanter - $5,900

Other great plays: Montrezl Harrell - $7,500, Dwight Howard - $5,400, Steven Adams - $5,300, Alex Len - $4,200, James Wiseman - $3,700
Core/Lineup:
As of now, my core is Damian Lillard ($9,400), Rui Hachimura ($5,200), and Nikola Jokic ($11,000). If Elfrid Payton and James Harden don't play, then Immanuel Quickley ($4,700), and Bruce Brown ($4,000) will become core plays. If James Harden ($11,300) does play, he will be a part of my core too.
