We got back in the win column last night with a 313 point lineup that was 20+ over the cash threshold for all contest types on the low scoring slate. That improves the lineups to 4/5 on cashing in GPPs within the last five days. For today, we have a slate that is shaping up to be hectic with all the possible trades that can happen, and with injury news still yet to be revealed. There are limitless lineup combinations that can be constructed with the 11 games to choose from. Since there are so many games, my player pool will be very large. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Luka Doncic - $11,000:
The Mavericks will match-up against the Timberwolves tonight, which immediately makes both Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis as top plays on the slate. Even though Porzingis went for 62 FD points in his last game against Minnesota, I gave Luka the nod as the top play of the slate given his recent hot streak. In his last four games, Luka has produced 46, 61, 74, and 60 FD points. In his recent 46 point showing, the game was a blow out due to Luka's incredible shooting performance, which is the only reason why he didn't have another monster game. The Timberwolves are dead last in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards, so another huge showing is likely.
Best Value:
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot - $3,500:
*UPDATE:* If he starts, Cedi Osman is now a candidate for this spot with Sexton out.
With no Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in last night's contest against the Trail Blazers, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot played 27 minutes and scored 23 FD points. James Harden is questionable for today once again, and if he doesn't play in the second leg of this back-to-back, then I can only imagine that TLC will see more minutes and usage. Since there are so many excellent options on this slate, I don't think there are any locks, but Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is excellent if Harden doesn't play. If Harden does play, TLC will remain a great value play, especially if he draws the start, but his value would dip slightly.
