The main slate tonight is a normal sized one with 7 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Donovan Mitchell (SG/PG - $8500) -

Donovan Mitchell has been on a scoring tear as of late with four consecutive games of 30+ points. In those four games, Mitchell scored 49.7, 32.1, 54.6, and 44.1 FD points. Aside from the 32.1 game, all of those outputs would be good value for his salary of $8500. The Jazz carry the third highest implied total of any team on the slate, so expect Spida to carry on his trend of scoring. The Hornets play at the fourth fastest pace of any team in the NBA, and they allow the seventh most points to opposing shooting guards, so the opportunities will be plentiful. My three biggest factors in choosing a DFS player are recent trends, their matchup, and their salary, and Donovan Mitchell has a plus in all of those categories tonight.
Best Value:
Kris Dunn (PG - $4800) -
The Trail Blazers are in no rush to bring back their players as they are far out of the playoff picture which has resulted in unexpected players getting heavy minutes. Kris Dunn has recently entered the starting lineup, and I would imagine that he will stay there as he signed another 10-day contract with the team. Dunn has yet to reach the 30 minute mark, but he has been a relatively high usage player in his time so far as he currently sits at .92 fantasy points per minute. With both Josh Hart and Justise Winslow out for tonight, we should see him eclipse 30 minutes, which makes his $4800 salary too cheap. I wouldn't label Kris Dunn as a lock, but he is an easy salary reliever.
