The main slate tonight is on the larger side with 9 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Nikola Jokic (C - $10900) -

NBA DFS becomes tricky at this point of the season as some teams fully embrace the tank, whereas others have playoff hopes and seeding to battle for. That contrast makes it difficult to project the minutes that various teams will play players, which can make for some frustrating days. The Denver Nuggets are currently battling for seeding in the tough West where just 3.5 games is the difference between the 4 seed and the 7 seed. Wanting to avoid a play in game and facing an easier opponent, the Nuggets should carry their starters with a normal workload, with perhaps even larger ones given the circumstance, so Jokic should be a safe play. His currently salary of $10900 is the cheapest I have seen it in some time, and doesn't quite make sense given his most recent performance (70 FD points), and his enticing matchup. The Hornets allow the fifth most fantasy points to opposing centers, so expect Jokic to have his way in this game.
Best Value:
Caris LeVert (SG/SF - $4900) -
Between the tanking Trail Blazers and Thunder, and the Warriors and Celtics without the majority of their starters tonight, there is no shortage of excellent DFS plays at reduced costs. Although the majority of the best value plays comes from the teams mentioned above, my favorite value play of the day is Caris LeVert. LeVert was released of all minute restrictions in his last game, which resulted in him entering the starting lineup and playing 36 minutes. He only scored 28 FD points in that game which is relatively low for LeVert provided his usual usage rate, but even that output would exceed 5x value at his current salary. He is simply too cheap for his minutes and scoring ability.
