The main slate tonight is a large one with 11 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Kevin Love (PF/C - $5300) -

My top play of the day is usually one of the higher priced studs on the slate, but I took a different route today with the amount of excellent value options. Kevin Love is priced just above the $5000 threshold that I use to classify my top value play, and he is too elite of a DFS option to not get name dropped in this article. The Cavaliers will be without Evan Mobley for their next few games, and with Jarrett Allen already sidelined for an extended period of time, Kevin Love will have to fulfill heavy minutes at the center position. He has been wildly productive all season when provided ample opportunity, but his minutes have been inconsistent. There is no reason why he won't see 30+ minutes the next few games, which makes him an absolute lock at a $5300 salary. When Love is not sharing the court with either Mobley or Allen, he is averaging a stellar 1.47 fantasy points per minute across a 27.0% usage rate. Put him in your lineup tonight and don't think twice about it.
Best Value:
Jae'Sean Tate (SF/PF - $4100) -
The Rockets have found any excuse to cut back on Jae'Sean Tate's minutes and support the tank by giving minutes to some of their younger options, but they won't have much of a choice but to play him for the rest of the season. They have shut down Dennis Schroder, Eric Gordon, and Christian Wood for the remainder of the season, and will likely be without Alperun Sengun for tonight as well. Although there are a few more players on the active roster, that only leaves Kevin Porter Jr., Jalen Green, Josh Christopher, Jae'Sean Tate, Garrison Mathews, and KJ Martin as the players that have been apart of the rotation at any point of the season. I could still see the Rockets not giving Tate the minutes that he should tonight, but he is projected just short of 30, which makes his salary of $4100 far too cheap for his production. I love Jae'Sean Tate as a salary reliever at the small forward spot today.
