The main slate tonight is a smaller one with 5 total games, so each lineup choice you make is even more critical to your success than usual. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Giannis Antetokounmpo (PF/SF - $11900) -

Giannis Antetokounmpo does not have a salary discount tonight as he carries a hefty $11900 tag, but that doesn't stop him from being my favorite spend up option on the slate. The Bucks play the Nets in what should be an exciting fast-pace matchup. Both of the teams in this game carry the two highest implied team totals on the slate, with the overall total currently sitting at a whopping 243.5 points. With a game setting like this, I am all for stacking the elite options on either side, which makes Giannis, Middleton, Kyrie, and KD all excellent options in my eyes. As usual, Giannis has been on a DFS tear as of late with only one showing of less than 50 FD points in his last sixteen games - an incredible feat. Even with his expensive salary, I am all for rostering Giannis on this smaller slate.
Best Value:
Caris LeVert (SG/SF - $5200) -
If there is one player that you should lock on this slate, it has to be Caris LeVert. I am bending my usual threshold of $5000 for my value play of the day tonight because LeVert is simply too good of an option at a salary of $5200. Since being cleared of all minutes restrictions, LeVert has played 38, 32, and 36 minutes, and has produced 43, 29, and 28 FD points. All of those scorings would exceed 5x value for his current cost, with his median being somewhere between the high and low end of those marks. With Mobley still out, LeVert will need to operate as the secondary scoring option behind Garland, and in that role last night, he scored 32. Caris LeVert is a free square on this slate - lock him in.
