The main slate tonight is a normal sized one with 8 total games, so there are plenty of intriguing player options to choose from. As on most slates, we have a lot of prevalent injury news that we are waiting on which could shake up the slate when released. Be sure to keep on eye on these injury situations as we approach roster lock. Let's dive in to the breakdown of the NBA main slate on FanDuel tonight!

Top Play:
Nikola Jokic ($10800) -

On a slate that is littered with elite value options across the board, you are going to have the extra salary to spend up for some quality superstars. Of the higher priced options, Nikola Jokic offers both the safest floor and highest ceiling of production. Jokic is coming off an overtime victory where he played 42 minutes, but he has demonstrated numerous times that he is capable of playing heavy minutes in the second leg of a back-to-back. In that game last night, Jokic had one of the most impressive fantasy performances that you will ever see with a 46 point triple-double that equated to a whopping 93 FD points. It would be insane to expect a total anything close to that tonight, but with an average of 56.7 FD points per game on the season, his $10800 isn't quite enough. There are other superstars you can target if you fear for Jokic's minutes, but I wouldn't be too worried.
Best Value:
Jordan Poole (PG/SG - $4700) -
As mentioned above, there are numerous quality value options at every position on this slate. The majority of those options come from the Warriors, Blazers, and Wolves, as each of those teams have a number of key injuries tonight. The plethora of options makes it impossible to have a clear cut best play at a reduced cost, but I decided to give that title to Jordan Poole. With no Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Gary Payton, or Andrew Wiggins, Poole will be tasked with carrying a large burden of the offensive production, and he has shined in these type of scenarios all season. When Poole has been on the court without Curry, Klay, and Wiggins on the year, he averages 1.17 fantasy points per minute on a skyrocketed 34.2% usage rate. Jordan Poole would be a lock on any other slate, but there are ways to avoid him tonight with the sheer number of elite plays, although he will be a building block in my lineup.
