Happy April Fool's Day! I wonder what "_____ has gone to the locker room" tweet will make me wish it was a prank today! With James Harden and Andre Drummond leaving their games early with injuries last night, my lineups have failed to cash due to injury in three of the last five main slates. It doesn't get much more unlucky than that, but injuries and terrible luck are a part of DFS. Hopefully, the new month serves as a changing point for this week's luck. For today, there are 7 games on the slate, which makes the player pool size about average. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Russell Westbrook - $11,300:

Russell Westbrook is starting to return to his normal form - that is a sigh of relief for fantasy and DFS players everywhere. Westbrook is on a stretch of fantasy production that only Giannis and Harden have rivaled this season. In the Wizards' last ten games, Russell Westbrook has scored over 85 FD points the same number of times he has scored under 50. There is no reason to not roster Russell Westbrook on any slate right now, let alone a small to average sized one like today.
Best Value:
Isaiah Hartenstein - $4,000:

Update: Kevin Love will play which may hurt Hartenstein's value slightly, but I don't expect Love to play much. With Jarrett Allen and Larry Nance Jr. out for the Cavaliers once again today, Isaiah Hartenstein and Dean Wade are going to be the frontrunners to see high minutes at the power forward and center positions. Even though Hartenstein left the game early with two quick fouls, he still managed to put together a 34 FD point showing across 25 minutes on Monday. There is some risk for Hartenstein to get in foul trouble again as he has a history of fouling out, but the risk is worth the reward at his price tag given his situation. Other excellent value plays on the slate include Bruce Brown, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dean Wade, Nicolas Claxton, Joe Harris, and James Wiseman (that one was tough to say).
