I am going to be completely honest, this week has been a struggle for NBA DFS. For any newcomers who have started trailing my lines recently, you started at the wrong time. I have said this in recent articles, but prior to this week, I was on a large win streak where my bankroll increased exponentially, so I guess I was due for a tough stretch. For everyone who has been following for awhile, you know that we will get back on track and get our profits up. Hopefully, I can take advantage of the 10 game slate and start doing so today. I said on Wednesday that the slate was probably the most loaded of the season, but this one may take the cake. Like Wednesday, I will have four top players at each position since there are so many quality options. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Fred VanVleet - $7,400:

In his first game back from injury and after serving his one game suspension, Fred VanVleet couldn't possibly find himself in any better of a fantasy situation. Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby are out for the game, and Gary Trent Jr. and DeAndre' Bembry are listed as questionable. FVV is going to have to do virtually everything on the offensive side of the ball, and will have to play very high minutes. Fred VanVleet is a lock for my lineup.
Best Value:
Isaiah Stewart - $4,800:

There are numerous different players that could occupy this title on the loaded slate today. I decided to go with Isaiah Stewart as the top value option because he has been extremely productive with his court time, and should see a big bump in minutes with Jerami Grant and Mason Plumlee out. I can easily see Isaiah Stewart going for 40 FD points and absolutely smashing value. As things currently sit, he is a core play of mine, and that probably won't change.
