With my lineups in the last couple of weeks being very hot and cold (luckily, more hot than cold), things have started to mellow out in the last couple of days. Not having Terry Rozier and including Tyrese Haliburton who busted terribly in my lineup last night ultimately kept me out of the cash, putting me about neutral in the past five days. Perhaps I can start off another stretch of excellent profits with the dawning of a new NBA DFS week today. For today, there are 9 games on the main slate, with tons of superb return on value options due to injuries or resting. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Russell Westbrook - $11,500:

Three things are certain in life - death, taxes, and Russell Westbrook getting a triple double. For the past month or so, Russell Westbrook has been on an absolute tear of triple doubles, which makes him an extremely safe and limitless ceiling DFS option. In his last 10 games, he is averaging 22.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 11.6 assists per game. Within those games, he has only scored under 49 FD points once, while scoring over 60 four times. Also, he matches up against the Thunder tonight, which gives him the player vs. old team bonus. At a very steep price of $11,500, you don't have to play Russ, but it is tough to get away from him with all the great value on the slate.
Best Value:
Isaiah Stewart - $4,800:

The past few slates have been a cycle of Isaiah Stewart chalk depending on whether Jerami Grant and Mason Plumlee are playing. Tonight, the Pistons will be without those two and Corey Joseph, which means that it is Stewart chalk night one again. In recent games of this same scenario, Isaiah Stewart has exploded with multiple 40+ FD point performances. At just $4,800, there are zero reasons to avoid him. Isaiah Stewart is a 100% lock on the slate.
