I am back with another NBA Fanduel article! I have been busy the last few days with end of the semester schoolwork and with NFL draft content, so I haven't had the time to prepare an article. In that time, the first posted lineup had a huge night and cashed in all contests, but last night's missed due to sub 10 FD point showings from Fournier and Wade. For tonight, we have six games with some excellent options due to injuries and load management. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Kristaps Porzingis - $7,600:

Kristaps Porzingis is currently listed as probable, while Luka Doncic is listed as doubtful for the Mavs. Assuming Porzingis plays and is not limited, he should see a huge uptick in usage without Luka against a weak Pistons team. His price tag of $7,600 provides a perfect smash opportunity where he is able to erupt for 50 FD points and hit near 7x in value. Another strong contender for this position was Kevin Durant, as he has seen his minutes limit increase and will eat more usage without Kyrie Irving tonight. As things are right now, both players are in my core.
Best Value:
Willy Hernangomez - $4,900:
The Pelicans will be without Steven Adams for tonight's contest which likely means that Willy Hernangomez will draw the start at center. If that is the case, he is in a terrific spot at just $4,900 against a bad Thunder team. In his last start, Hernangomez played 30 minutes and eclipsed 34 FD points in that span. Given his solid production when on the court, I think that is well within his median tonight if he starts. Hernangomez is not listed in my core right now, but he would be the fourth addition if I had to include one.
