It has been nearly a full week since my last article covering the NBA on Fanduel, but I am finally back! I was swamped with college exams and projects this week, so I thought it would be smarter to allocate all of my time to that. In that time period since my last article, my DFS luck has been as bad as you could possibly imagine. I have had Luka ejected twice while playing him, Paul Millsap was a random DNP, and injuries to Damontas Sabonis and Yuta Watanabe also occurred in my lineups. Hopefully, the return of the articles sparks a changing in luck. However, the slates are going to continue to get more and more gross as we approach playoffs with many teams having little to play for. There will be tons of players resting, some players getting less time than usual, and probably some unexpected DNPs. If you are worried about all of that, I would recommend playing less money than usual until playoffs, but I will be playing the same amount like the gambling degenerate that I am. For the main slate today, we have eight games with a ton of players resting. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Russell Westbrook - $12,500:

With immense uncertainty on the slate, there is one thing that we can be almost sure of - Russell Westbrook is playing, and he will play a lot. Most of the teams are no longer playing for anything, but that is not true for the Wizards. They haven't officially clinched a play-in game birth yet, and are still fighting for seeding even if they had. Russell Westbrook may come at an unheard of price tag of $12,500, but it doesn't matter. He is on arguably the biggest DFS tear in the history of fantasy sports, and is by far the safest option on the slate. He should come at crazy ownership today, but you need to play Russell Westbrook.
Best Value:
Xavier Tillman - $3,900:
Where do I even start? There is so much value today that you could quite literally make a lineup that is $10,000 under the salary cap and still have a reasonable chance of cashing. Nearly half of the teams playing today are resting their key players, with those teams including the Warriors, Grizzlies, Pistons, Raptors, and the Clippers, with other teams such as the Nuggets, Pelicans, Rockets, Kings, Cavaliers, and Jazz having many players out with injury as well. There is truly over 5 players at every position that are incredible value, so you will be forced to pick your favorites and fade a lot of people. Of the value plays, Rajon Rondo, De'Anthony Melton, Marcus Morris, and Xavier Tillman are my favorites, but it is fine if you like some of the other cheap plays more.

Russell Westbrook - $12,500

Core/Lineup:
