NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 5/3/21

I am back with another article after missing the last two days. Last night, the posted lineup had potential, but was ultimately let down by a combined 16 points from Devin Vassell and Mo Harkless. All in all, my lineups have been mediocre as of late, so hopefully I am able to break neutrality and start a cash streak tonight. The main slate today features eight games with a plethora of solid options to construct lineups around. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!

Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.

Top Play:

Russell Westbrook - $11,200:

There isn't a ton to say on this play. Russell Westbrook remains both the safest, and the highest ceiling player on the slate with the triple-double tear that he has been on for a couple of months now. He is the most expensive player on the slate, but you would expect that, and his price is still not bad for the quality of production he has seen. His match-up against the Pacers also offers a favorable situation as there is no one to stop him at the rim. Russell Westbrook is not someone who you must play, but he is still the best option on the day at a reasonable cost. He is currently a part of my core, but that could change if an injury opens up a lock for a player.

Best Value:

Rui Hachimura - $3,900:

ree

Rui Hachimura was mentioned as the top value play in my most recent article, and he retains that title again today. As of late, his fantasy production hasn't been superb with totals of 18, 22, and 19 in his last three games, but he is still far too cheap for his role on the Wizards. At just $3,900, all of those scorings would be around his value threshold, and those were in floor games. If he is able to piece together his usual production in the minutes that he will see, he will smash value at his very cheap cost. As things currently sit, Rui Hachimura is a piece of my lineup core, and I very highly doubt that that will change as the night advances.
