From my last article on Wednesday, the lineup I created finished strongly and cashed in all formats. With no article yesterday, I posted my lineup on Twitter as compensation, but it ended as one of my weakest lineups in recent memory due to very poor performances from a few of my players. The NBA has a large ten game slate in store for us today, which provides a superb opportunity to bounce back into the green. As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!
Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.
Top Play:
Delon Wright - $7,000:
Delon Wright has smashed his price tag in recent games given his new role on the Kings offense for the time being without De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton. In those two games with that situation, Wright has produced fantasy outputs of 59 and 60 FD points. At $7,000, you would be happy with 35 FD points, and his median should be higher than that tonight. The Spurs are also in the bottom part of the league in points allowed to opposing point guards. Delon Wright isn't a 100% lock, but I have him in my core as of now.
Best Value:
The Houston Rockets/New Orleans Pelicans:
In my most recent article on Wednesday, I incorporated the entire Houston Rockets team into my top value play since they only had eight active players. Assuming they even have enough active players to play tonight, they will be in the same boat as Wednesday. Also, the New Orleans Pelicans find themselves in a similar scenario as they will be without Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and Steven Adams tonight, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Josh Hart still remain out. Any player on either roster that is priced under $5,000 is playable in DFS, but my favorites are James Johnson, Naji Marshall, Willy Hernangomez, Armoni Brooks, and Anthony Lamb. Players priced over $5,000 on either squad are in excellent spots to smash value as well. Of the bunch, only James Johnson is currently a part of my core, but I likely will be playing multiple pieces from these teams.
