NBA Playoff DFS Picks For Fanduel 5/25/21

I finally broke my cold streak and was able to cash comfortably with the lineup I posted yesterday for the small two game slate. The lineup only finished with 269 points, but that was an unusually good score for a slate since both of the only games on the slate were blowouts. For today, we have a slightly larger three game slate that includes BOS-BKN, DAL-LAC, and LAL-PHX. Hopefully yesterday can spark a hot streak of cashing on Fanduel! As I say everyday, the top plays and my lineup core can change with injury or rest news, so make sure to stay up to date. Let's dive into the breakdown of the NBA main slate on Fanduel today!

Reminder: If you would like the lineup that I will be using, RT the article post on twitter for at @SportsVerseHQ, DM @Excyphir, and follow them both. Since my lineups usually change with injury news, be sure to check DMs before lock in case of a change. I usually send my lineups out around 30 minutes to an hour prior to lock, so as long as you have followed the steps and DMed me, you will receive it.

Top Play:

Luka Doncic - $10,300:

ree

Luka Doncic has crushed the Clippers in nearly every game he has faced them so far in his young career. Game 1 of this series was no different as he scored 65 FD points across 40 minutes, which included a 30-point triple-double. The Clippers have given some thought into putting Kawhi Leonard on Luka for this game, but I don't think that hinders Luka's value too much. He is able to efficiently produce in other categories besides scoring, and it isn't like he won't score at all on Kawhi. Like most others, I project Luka to be the highest scoring fantasy player on this slate, which means that he will be apart of my lineup core at a very reasonable price of $10,300.

Best Value:

Marcus Morris - $4,400:

With rotations being cut shorter in playoffs, it can be much more difficult to properly identify good value plays, but there are still some excellent ones on this slate. Of them all, Marcus Morris is my favorite. There was some worry that the return of Serge Ibaka would limit his minutes, but if Game 1 was any indicator, then we shouldn't be fearful anymore. In that game, Morris played 32 minutes while Ibaka only played 12, even though Ibaka was able to out produce Morris. It is unlikely that Morris has a repeat dud performance based off of the sheer amount of minutes he should see. Of the plays priced under $5,000, Marcus Morris is my favorite.

Point Guard:

Luka Doncic - $10,300

Chris Paul - $7,600

Kemba Walker - $7,000

Other great plays: Dennis Schroder - $5,700

Shooting Guard:

Paul George - $8,400

Marcus Smart - $5,300

Tim Hardaway Jr. - $5,100

Other great plays: James Harden - $10,800, Devin Booker - $8,200

Small Forward:

Kawhi Leonard - $9,400

Evan Fournier - $5,800

Mikal Bridges - $5,400

Other great plays: LeBron James - $10,500, Kevin Durant - $10,400, Dorian Finney-Smith - $4,400, Nicolas Batum - $4,300, Joe Harris - $4,200

Power Forward:

Anthony Davis - $10,100

Kristaps Porzingis - $6.900

Marcus Morris - $4,400

Other great plays: Jayson Tatum - $10,000, Jae Crowder - $4,800, Jabari Parker - $3,800 (punt)

Center:

DeAndre Ayton - $7,200

Robert Williams - $5,800

Tristan Thompson - $4,400

Other great plays: none
