Playoff NBA DFS Picks For Fanduel 9/6/2020

Five in a row? I can't recall a time that my lineups have been this hot, but I don't plan on letting the streak stop at five after today. Yesterday, the lineup finished around the top 20-30% of lineups, so it should have cashed in most formats. The line was looking very good after the Celtics game as we avoided popular plays such as Jayson Tatum and OG Anunoby who didn't end up reaching value, but Marcus Morris having a bad day limited the lineup from going too crazy. On the slate today, we have games between LAL-HOU, and possibly the last game in the MIL-MIA series. The Bucks have certainly been a disappointment in playoffs, and are facing elimination with the possibility of Giannis not playing. Let's jump in and see if we can make it six straight days of cashing!

Injury News:

- Rajon Rondo is probable for Game 2 against the Rockets.

- Tyler Herro is probable for Miami with a bruised right hip.

- Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable for Game 4 against the Heat with a sprained ankle.

- Kelly Olynyk will be a game time decision for the Heat.

Top Play:

Eric Bledsoe - $5,200:

Eric Bledsoe is my lock of the day. In his two second round games so far, he has slightly disappointed by not registering a 25 FD point game. However, even with Budenholzer as coach, I expect Bledsoe to play over 30 minutes in an elimination match. At $5,200, his price is too cheap given the quality of the player, and the situation he is in. If Giannis doesn't play, then his value will go up even more, but I will have Bledsoe in my lineup regardless.

Best Value:

Kyle Kuzma - $4,600:

Kyle Kuzma burnt me on Friday by only putting up 12 fantasy points, but we still managed to cash. Even with his frustrating performance, there was a positive to take away, in the fact that Kuzma played 28 minutes. In the series against Portland, Kuzma only averaged 23.6 minutes a game, so it seems like he will be getting a small boost for this series. If Giannis sits, then George Hill and Marvin Williams become prime value options, with some value opening up for Donte DiVincenzo as well. Danny Green, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Danuel House are other cheap plays that could be utilized if needed.

Fade:

P.J. Tucker - $5,300:

The one popular option that I will be avoiding today is P.J. Tucker. In Game 1, he did a tremendous job against Anthony Davis, as he didn't allow him to score a single point on him. In Game 2, I expect AD to come back with vengeance, which may cause Tucker to get into foul trouble early. Even if he doesn't get into foul trouble, I would much prefer Brook Lopez at the position who is only $500 more. Lopez has significantly more upside due to his scoring ability, and has a higher floor as well.

Player Pool:

Point Guard:

Russell Westbrook - $9,000

Eric Bledsoe - $5,200

George Hill - $4,500 (especially if Giannis doesn't play)

Other great plays: Goran Dragic - $7,200

Shooting Guard:

James Harden - $11,000

Khris Middleton - $7,500

Tyler Herro - $5,100

Other great plays: Jimmy Butler - $8,800, Danny Green - $4,300, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - $4,000

Small Forward:

LeBron James - $10,500

Eric Gordon - $5,600

Jae Crowder - $5,100

Other great plays: Giannis Antetokounmpo - $11,200, Danuel House Jr. - $4,600

Power Forward:

Anthony Davis - $11,400

Bam Adebayo - $8,200

Marvin Williams - $3,800 (great if Giannis doesn't play)

Other great plays: Robert Covington - $7,000, Jeff Green - $4,800, Kyle Kuzma - $4,600

Center:

Brook Lopez - $5,800

Other great plays: none

Core/Lineup:

This is the first time I have not filled all three spots for a certain position, but there are no decent center options aside from Brook Lopez in my eyes. My core 3 are Eric Bledsoe, LeBron James, and Brook Lopez.
