I am on the hottest 50-50 win streak that I can recall in recent memory. On yesterday's low scoring slate, we cashed again in 50-50s to make it a massive seven slate win streak. However, we haven't cashed in tournaments or most pools recently, so I am looking for a killer lineup tonight. The games today feature MIA-MIL with the possibility of Giannis not playing, and a tied HOU-LAL game where Anthony Davis has been moved to center for Fanduel eligibility. Let's jump right into the top plays of the day!
Injury News:
- Tyler Herro/Jae Crowder/Kelly Olynyk are questionable for Game 5 for the Heat.
- Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable for the Bucks with the same ankle injury that he has had for this series.
- Javale McGee is questionable to play with a left ankle sprain.
Top Play:
Eric Bledsoe - $5,200:
Eric Bledsoe was the top play of the slate for me on Saturday, and nothing has changed for today. Despite playing 39 minutes and putting up 34 FD points in his last game, Eric Bledsoe somehow did not see a price increase, and is still only $5,200. Rajon Rondo is even $1,000 more than him, which really puzzles me. Bledsoe is going to play a ton and will be utilized heavily, especially if Giannis sits, which seems likely at this point. Eric Bledsoe needs to be rostered on this slate.
Best Value:
George Hill - $4,800:
Based on the assumption that Giannis sits, George Hill is my favorite play priced under $5,000. He is still a fine option even if Giannis does manage to play today, as he has seen over 30 minutes in all but one game in this series. His fantasy output has been nothing to hit home about, but he has a decently high floor with some upside. Donte DiVincenzo will also be a top value play if Giannis doesn't play, and Kyle Kuzma is fairly priced at a position with limited options. Danny Green, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Danuel House Jr. could be played, but I would only recommend playing them if you really need the salary relief.
Fade:
Rajon Rondo - $6,200:
The discrepancy on the price of Rondo between Fanduel and DraftKings is pretty ludicrous. On DraftKings, he is the best value option as he only priced at a measly $3,900. However, on Fanduel, he is $1,000 more than Eric Bledsoe, at $6,200. I would adamantly suggest not playing Rondo on Fanduel, as his price is way too high compared to the other options. It is very unlikely that Rondo scores 40 FD points again, especially given the fact that 15 of those points came on 5 steals.
Player Pool:
Point Guard:
Russell Westbrook - $9,000
Goran Dragic - $7,200
Eric Bledsoe - $5,200
Other great plays: George Hill - $4,800, Donte DiVincenzo - $4,500 (if Giannis sits)
Shooting Guard:
James Harden - $10,800
Khris Middleton - $8,000 (more so if Giannis sits)
Tyler Herro - $5,000 (if he plays)
Other great plays: Jimmy Butler - $8,300, Danny Green - $4,300, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - $4,000
Small Forward:
LeBron James - $11,100
Eric Gordon - $5,400
Jae Crowder - $5,100 (if he plays)
Other great plays: Danuel House Jr. - $4,800
Power Forward:
Bam Adebayo - $8,500
Robert Covington - $6,700
Kyle Kuzma - $4,600
Other great plays: none
Center:
Anthony Davis - $11,400
Brook Lopez - $5,800
P.J. Tucker - $5,600 (an option but much prefer Lopez)
Other great plays: none
Core/Lineup:
My core 3 are Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, and either James Harden or LeBron James depending on how you build your team. I would pair them with a combination of Bam, Covington, or Kuzma at power forward.
